[Removed] will not respond for USPS tracking number. Because they used counterfeit postage
Back in March, 2026 I ordered a 3D Blu Ray of The Fantastic Four from [Removed by mod] and it has not arrived weeks after it's delivery date. I have written them 8 times with no response requesting a USPS tracking number. It turns out [Removed] used counterfeit postage and my package was returned to them. Just a heads up, if they are using counterfeit postage then they are criminals. Do not do business with [Removed]! I am trying to get a full refund.

·4 months agothis just happened to me and the ebay support team is no help at all. I provided both a recorded phone call and a chat log with fedex where they confirmed the tracking number provided was not associated to my name or delivery address provided. since the fraudulent tracking number is of a package delivered to my city the CSR team has repeatedly sided with the seller. Absolutely no help, beware as this is a new scam occurring where the seller provides a fraudulent tracking number to your city, therefore any CSR ebay members will confirm it was delivered, and I guess fedex chat log confirmation is not enough evidence to get a refund. I also even provided a picture of my house and how the delivery photo on fedex is of a grey vinyl house and my house is red brick and that didn't help. Even the CSR person said this was delivered to my front porch, I don't even have a front porch.

This is not a new scam.
Ebay relies on written documentation from the shipping company that the item was not delivered to your shipping address. I have had it happen, was able to provide written documentation, and Ebay issued the refund.

·4 months agoI have written proof in the chat with FedEx, but the people at the physical location and the people over the phone said they can’t provide written proof. Additionally there is no email for FedEx for customer support, it is just phone and chat. So I am struggling to get written proof outside of my verified chat log

·5 months agoConfusion here: You initially state it's been "weeks" since the estimated delivery date.
Later on, you state the estimated delivery date was May 5th.
You have 30 days after the EDD to open an item not received case.
You "will be requesting a refund when the 30 days are up."
If the EDD was May 5th, you could have opened an item not received case on the 6th.
Or am I missing something?

·5 months agoIs there a reason why you would not just open an item not received case?
If it's been more than 30 days since the estimated delivery date, that window is closed, so you will need to seek a refund from your funding source, bank or whatever.

OP5 months agoI will be requesting a refund when the thirty days are up. And yet [removed] still has not responded to any of my 8 messages. I have been polite and patient but they won't respond.

OP5 months agoI did open an item not received case and I was just informed that the seller has sent
a refund to me. I'll check my bank tomorrow to see if that is true.
Thanks.

Last few months, there's been a lot of Ebay shipping labels showing up as counterfeit postage, so might not be the sellers fault.
Since the order was placed in March, the MBG has probably expired and there's nothing you can do through Ebay.

OP5 months agoThanks but that does not do me any good. [removed] still has not shipped my Blu Ray and they will not respond to any of my 8 messages. I have been polite and patient but they will not respond. I have to wait a week before I can request a refund. I won't be doing business with [removed]. I cannot recommend them. Very poor service.

As @jonathanbrightlight has suggested, if 30 days have elapsed from the original delivery date, you may have waited too long to open an "item not received" case against the buyer -- so eBay will not be able to assist you.
Contact your credit card company to get a refund for this purchase that was not received.

OP5 months agoThe expected day of the packages arrival was May 5, 2026. I have already sent a refund request to [removed] and will again. [removed] refuses to respond to any of my 8 messages. That is not good service and I cannot recommend them.

·5 months agoSending a message to the seller won't do any good.
You need to open an Item Not Received case.
Go to your purchase history and click I didn't get it in the menu next to the item.
The seller will have 3 days to provide a tracking number showing it was delivered or refund.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

·5 months agoIF the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:
Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history
If the seller does not respond to the refund request, after 3 business days you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.

·5 months ago'Back in March'....'expected day of the package arrival was May 5'...for a 3 D Blue Ray?
I never heard of anyone waiting that long for a 3D...
I ship sometimes to the UK from the USA and it can arrive in 8 days.
Sounds like we are missing something to the story...

·5 months agoIf it is too late to file an eBay Claim , you probably can still file a chargeback with the credit card you actually paid with.
This is why it is best when shopping online to use an actual credit card rather than a bank or Paypal balance, an e-transfer or a debit card which draws from your bank account. The credit card is much more likely to get your refund, the others may not be able to.

·5 months agoYou have 30 days after the last estimated delivery date to file a claim. There is no need to contact the seller, but you have to go to your purchase history and select that option, and follow up on the case. It sounds like you are well past that time, so you cannot get any help through eBay now. “Counterfeit postage” doesn’t mean they are criminals, there are many errors that can result in that, through no fault of their own or just a misunderstanding.
You also are not allowed to name and shame sellers or buyers here, who will most likely never see this post nor will anyone else who has or would buy fun them. The moderators here will soon remove it I’m sure, though you can edit it out yourself to follow the rules of the forums.
Your only option now would be to file a dispute/chargeback with your credit card issuer or bank.
