refund on an order
I am asking for a refund on an order that I made on Jan 2 that I haven't received. I need to add the fact that the seller doesn't give refunds. It hasn't been shipped and no tracking service. Plus he has a month shipping time which is not reasonable since it is shipped within the US.

The link below takes you to ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) policy. It can also be found on a listing page below the accepted payment options icons, under the Shop with Confidence header. Click on the underlined Learn more button.

Who rips you off, exactly?
You saw the last estimated delivery date when you made your purchase. That must've been satisfactory to you or else you'd not have purchased, right?
If you are saying the seller ripped you off, you saw the price plus shipping when you made your purchase. That information also must've been satisfactory to you or you would not have made your purchase.

·8 months agoWhile you're waiting, you might take a quick spin through eBay's Money Back Guarantee.
For instance, that seller's "no refunds" stance is overridden by eBay's MBG.
Guess I don't have to tell you that reading the entire listing very carefully in terms of delivery date etc is a very good idea.

·8 months agoYou are not address Ebay here. You need to file an "item not received" case against the seller after the estimated delivery date. What is that date?

·8 months agoHi @cmackenna58
Sellers usually have an extended handling time when they are unable to ship the item quickly for some reason. Perhaps it is out of stock by the manufacturer. We have no way of knowing.
You can open an 'Item not received' claim from your Purchase History as soon as you reach the Estimated Delivery Date you were given. eBay won't accept the claim until then. If you needed the item in a shorter period of time ... then you really should have purchased the item from another seller. I'm sorry.

·8 months agoIn the listing where you made your purchase, you saw an estimated delivery date. Evidently, at that time, that seemed ok with you or presumably you would not have made the purchase.
Another point is this: If/when your item isn't received by the date of estimated delivery, and there is no tracking showing it's moving through the system, you can open an item not received case with eBay. The seller's "no refunds" stance has no meaning in this case.
Finally, if you are not aware of the above facts, then I would respectfully suggest that you need to get better acquainted with the Money Back Guarantee.

·8 months agoSo.....why did you order if that 30-day handling time is an issue? It must have seemed reasonable to you since you ordered.
Unfortunately, you cannot do anything as the seller has not violated any policy. They can ship on Day 29, and are good.
Next time don't order from someone with an extended handling time.

·8 months agoNothing you can do until after the estimated delivery date.
A day after the estimated delivery date Ebay gave you, open an Item Not Received case.
Go to your purchase history and click I didn't get it in the menu next to the item.
The seller will have 3 days to provide a tracking number showing it was delivered or refund.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
The estimated delivery date was shown in the listing, so it must have been ok when you placed the order.
