Hello everyone,
eBay approved a refund on May 9 and stated that it would take around 3–5 business days to appear in my account. However, today is May 22, and it has already been about 10 business days, but I still have not received the money in my account.
I tried to request assistance from an agent, but I live in South America and eBay does not provide my country code or phone number option for receiving a call from customer support.
Does anyone know another way to contact eBay directly, such as through email or live chat, to get information about my refund and when it will arrive?
Thank you for your help.

If you paid with a credit card, it can take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your statement. You can call the customer service number on the back of the card to see if the credit is being processed. If you paid with a debit card from your bank or from a bank account, the transfer can take some time to process and your bank may be holding the funds while they verify the funds transfer from an unfamiliar account.

·4 months agoA live agent will not have an accurate answer for you. You would be wasting your time calling in. Ebay has approved the refund so you will need to wait. I have had the same experience as Ken has which is it took 3 weeks to show up into a bank account or credited back to a credit card. Wait until June 8th to be concerned about it. Keep an eye on your account.

·4 months agoWhen it appears in your bank account is largely up to your bank. I don’t know about South American banks, but here in the US it can sometimes take until the next billing cycle for it to appear.
