Recieved a 20$ refund on a 100$ item that was Cancelled by seller

I recently purchased a set of 5 models for 100$ (60$ listed 38$ shipping) and not even 9 minutes after receiving a shipping confirmation I get another email stating that it has been canceled by seller. I look farther down the email and see that my "completed refund" is only 21$. Did I just get rug pulled?

1/5th of $100 is $20. Sounds like the seller 'cancelled' 1 of the 5 items (but didn't quite do it right; I bet you'll still see something shipped soon.

Check your account and make sure you did not miss anything.

The refund may come in two increments. One from eBay with the fees eBay collected and one from what the seller received.

I would file an appeal through the Ebay system and there will be an excellent chance you will get a full refund off review of the appeal. The seller is required to give you a full refund. They decided to give you a partial refund which in this case they weren't suppose to do that.

What reason was given for the seller cancelling the transaction?

If the seller is a new one they may have done that because of their inexperience.

If you post the ebay item number which you can find just under the item title in your Order details it is 12 digits long without any hyphens. We would be able to check the listing and the seller's profile, to tell you the best way to deal with this and what reason you can use to report the seller and to get a full refund.
