RE: counterfeit .925 silver and fake gems
I've been shopping Temu for their great prices on their granulated gem beads. I sell them as such, real turquoise etc and charge for that quality.
Same with the silver. I already see a copper color coming through. FAKE!
Apparently someone caught on. I noticed when I looked at what I had purchased to label and there it was FAUX, ARTIFICIAL now!! Smh.
That's not what I bought!
I am going to report them once I get s couple more silver items and screenshot their ads. Smh

You need to take that up with Temu.

OP2 years agoTo warn everyone to be alert. Especially those who might be selling their projects on Ebay using Temu products.

Report them to whom?? Ebay has no control over Temu, anymore than they have control over any other source of an item an eBay seller may list.

What does your Topic have to do with eBay? There is no registered seller by that name on this site. Before starting to buy from that site did you investigate it at all? It is not accredited with the BBB and its ratings from reviews are 2.5 out of 5 stars. It is also based in China the worlds leader for counterfeit, and falsely described precious metal and gem items. I do not know who you hope to report them to, but there is enough info online about them, that I would never have used them
Start a search for "Is Temo a legitimate site" and see what you find.

That may be the case but eBay shows clickable advertisements for that company all over the place. I imagine it is 'confusing' to some buyers, and they may feel because these are on the eBay site they are endorsed by same.

If you pay below that for a "worked" item which should have some labour cost figured in, then you are not getting silve.

·2 years agoYou bought from one of these China websites and thought you would get something that wasn't fake? Whether it be silver coins, Pokemon cards, Littlest Pet Shop dolls, or gems like you are talking about, they're ALL going to be fake from apps like that (Wish, Aliexpress, etc)
