Searching for some items for my car . But went through about 8-200 count pages and all I saw was pages of the same items from the same seller. What a waist of time. I'm done. Should that be allowed?

·2 years agoSometimes I see the same car with the same seller listed twice. It happens. At 200 count of the same thing, it strikes me as a major time waster. I'll look up an item like a specific Apple Watch and I'll choose "watch" only to see pages and pages of accessories. Annoys me to no end. I used to report it but nothing really ever changed. Now, I look at several auction sites. Not just Ebay.
Take care.

I don't know why it wouldn't be legal ... but you can always exclude that seller from your Search if you don't want to see that many items from a single seller.

·2 years agoYou can use Advanced Search to exclude that seller from your search results. Click on the "Advanced" link next to the basic search box, then scroll way down to the Sellers section.

Just to add to this excellent suggestion: The Sellers section in Advanced Search defaults to Include. You might not notice the down arrow alongside. You have to click that down arrow to change Include to Exclude.

·2 years agoUnless you actually looked at the sellers user name, what you are more likely seeing is the same item being listed by many different sellers which is allowed. I was looking for hub locks for my 2000 Ford Ranger, that is what I was seeing, copies of the same photos and descriptions but different sellers.

·2 years agoNo it's not allows however some sellers do " weasel " around that rule.

·2 years agoWhat is "not allowed"? Are you saying that one seller cannot have hundreds or thousands of listings in a single category?

·2 years agoWhy do you believe it would not (or should not) be allowed?
