How can you purchase an item (that states that it fits your application and not hold said company accountable) I have lost 72.00 sending an item back that stated on the auction that if fits. These kinds of transactions can take place every day all the time...I am very disappointed. No company should be able to sell anything without a return policy. This company had none!!!! The company that I purchased said item from, weren't aware of what they were selling. Even though my case was supposed to have been reviewed, it was e-mailed to me (IN RECORD TIME) that my case had ended........EBAY SHOULD NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO SELL ITEMS WITHOUT A RETURN POLICY!!!!!!

·2 years agoWas it for a car? Was it a US seller? Did you enter your vehicle information? Was there a compatibility table? Did you open the return as "not as described"? The eBay money back guarantee trumps anyone's return policy. If you follow the appropriate steps it is really, really hard to not get an appropriate refund.

·2 years agoThe general feeling here is that the OP opened a return case using "does not fit" as his reason, which he felt was perfectly logical in the case of a motor vehicle part.
The problem here is that eBay sees that as a remorse reason as in clothing, so denies his request.

·2 years agoThey do have a return policy. EBay has a superseding policy that if the item is not as described, then it can be returned under the Money Back Guarantee policy.
I'm going to fill in some blanks and guess you filed a case/return and chose "Does Not Fit". Was this a car part or something?
"Does Not Fit" is not intended the way you took it... It's a "Remorse Return" which the seller does not accept. Like clothing. "It didn't fit me just right".
What would've been more appropriate is a "Item Not As Described" Return. As it was described as it would fit, and does not.
This is a huge pitfall within EBay's policies that the returns are not very clear...
