Purchased a stove, paid, no refund, no shipment - help!
I purchased an item and they didnt ship it, so I opened a case and when I noticed I never got a refund today I clicked to see status and they said the case was closed. I cannot find any way to contact ebay, or to get a refund, and it clearly wasnt shipped, doesnt say delivered, and chat thread with seller he says its too expensive to ship.
Help.

·1 year agoI hear that PP has reduced the deadline for Claims.
But try them if you used Paypal.
Be prepared to go to your credit card for a chargeback.

·1 year agoPayPal shortened the time for INR claims to match eBay, but still allows extended time for SNAD.

·1 year agoActually the opposite is true. Paypal still allows 180 days for item not received claims. It's item not as described they've reduced to 30 days.

After you open a case eBay gives the seller three business days to respond. If they don't, on the fourth day you have to go back to the case and ask eBay to step in. You only have 21 days to do that. You missed that step. At this point you have two options: If you paid with Paypal they give you 180 days to open an item not received case there. Or you can dispute the charge with your credit card.

·1 year agoYou only had 30 days from the estimated delivery date to open a claim for non-receipt.
Your only option at this point is to file a claim through your payment source.
EDIT: I see that the purchase was made on July 28 and you opened a claim on August 23, within the 30 day timeframe.
But when you didn't get the refund or response from the seller, you should have gone back to the claim and asked ebay to step in. You would have received the refund of your payment but you didn't do it in time.
