Purchase not shown on EBay so cannot return
I purchased an item -- Tea Tree Oil Eyelid Wipes -- from a seller on EBay called clixx.buy. The item arrived but came from Amazon, and was not the item advertised. I do not see the item listed on my EBay account as a purchase and Amazon will not refund the full amount that I paid (I assume they will refund what they sell it for.) What are my options? Return to Amazon and lose $10?

Did the item arrive in a Smile box or a plain one? Was there (A Gift for you) receipt in the package or a regular register tape type one? Some ebay sellers also sell on Amazon and their ebay purchases are shipped from there in smile boxes, using Amazon's Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) service. Others use Amazon to store and have Amazon ship their items, using their Multi Channel Fulfillment (MCF) service, those come in a plain box. Both are legal to use on ebay. If you received a gift receipt the seller should be reported to both ebay and amazon.
If you bought as a guest the purchase will not show up in your My ebay Purchase History. You can still invoke their Money Back Guarantee protections however. using the link provided by @kensgiftshop .

·5 months agoJust wanted to point out that ‘A gift for you!’ slips are sometimes placed in packages for items I purchase on Amazon for myself … so I don’t think that a gift receipt, alone, is a reliable indicator that a seller has done something wrong. [There apparently are careless packers working for Amazon.]
