Purchase disappeared
I bought a pair of sweats, and when they arrived SNAD, I contacted the seller to arrange for a return. Seller agreed and told me to start the return process through ebay. Previously when I had to do a SNAD return, I could still find the item in my Purchases, but after beginning my return for refund, the sweats have now disappeared from everything but my messages (thankfully I kept the message telling me to return for refund.) Is this a temporary error?
We won't go into my recent spate of bad sellers, even those with 100% feedback ðŸ˜

OP3 years agoUpdate: after going through my messages, several steps in ("you initiated a return" "Status") I found that the seller was refunding me without requiring a return. Fine, but unless I drilled down through 3+ layers, I would have had no idea. ebay never updated my return request nor showed anything that was happening.

·3 years agoIt's not an error -- the requests are relocated to the bottom of Purchases, in its own section on the full website.

OP3 years agoActually, there was nothing there. I still saw other purchases (including one that I opened an INR on), but nothing about the return. Previously, that's where SNAD returns were. I wonder if it was because of the 'no contest' refund without return. A little notification would have been appreciated, so I didn't inadvertently open a complaint despite the refund.
