Problems with newbie seller
Hi everyone,
I do hope you are all well and coped well with the heatweave in the UK.
I wanted to give you all a heads up about a newbie to ebay who joined in March 2025.
Seller is a really dishonest, unpleasant, rude. heartless and slippery individual. I suggest you avoid him at all costs.
I was in hospital and lost my right kidney to cancer. I was in hospital for 3 weeks and very ill indeed. I left my son to run my ebay account, but he is a very busy barrister in the City of London and works 7 days a week with a huge case load. He wrote to seller via ebay messaging and told him of my illness and that he would pay him for my items when he had tijme in the next couple of days.
However, seller then cancelled all my order and left passive agressive feedback for me without responding to my son's ebay messages about me.
Very pleasant indeed. NOT!
My son reported seller to ebay Trust and Safety, and they are investigating his conduct at present with a view to removing him from the platform.
Therefore. if you are in the market for cheap jewellery and 925 silver items, I would suggest you avoid this seller if you do not want to be treated really badly and trashed without any reason at all.
I have been an ebayer for over 23 years and never come across such a nasty and horrilbe person before.
I now have cancer in my left lung and am having it removed later this morning, Friday 4 July 2025.
I was told today I have three to six months to live.
Therefore, I would advise you all to avoid seller and steer well clear of him.
I wish you all well and hope you have a very good weekend.
A very happy Friday 4th of July to all non Trump supporters in the USA.
Please take good care of yourselves.
I hope you all also have a great summer.
With kindest regards and best wishes,
Peace and love to you all
Peter

First, I'm so sorry about your diagnosis. But it's absolutely ridiculous to think eBay would remove a seller from the platform for reporting a nonpaying buyer. And that's what you were. You have to realize that sellers hear every reason under the sun for buyers not paying. Some are true, many aren't. Sellers have to protect their businesses, which means cancelling for nonpayment if the buyer doesn't pay in four days. Honestly, you need to focus your energy on things more important than one nonpayment strike.

·1 year agoYou bought an item.
You did not pay.
The seller cancelled the order and you got a Strike.
Everything else in the post is irrelevant.
This is business.
FWIW - In the time it took your deputy to contact the seller they could have paid.

·1 year agoI’m sorry you had to deal with a seller who seemed to have misplaced their compassion—possibly in the same spot as their customer service skills. 🤗

I am sending you healing thoughts and warm hugs today and throughout your journey.
But please remove this. It is my understanding that it is against Ebay policy to call out others by their names on this board.
