EBay doesn't magically know if a member qualifies for tax-exempt status. You have to file the appropriate paperwork proving it. You can find instructions for doing so here: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/paying-items/paying-tax-ebay-purchases?id=4771#section2

·7 months agoHow about a little more information? What kind of "taxes" are you referring to? What kind of tax exemption?
BTW, when you post a message here, you're not addressing eBay or its employees. These Boards are made up of fellow eBayers, both buyers and sellers, who volunteer their time here to help others with questions or issues. So, as you can see, "you guys" doesn't apply in this case. And we would still need more info to help you if you don't mind sharing.
