You haven't given many details but my guess is that you made some purchases, didn't pay for them because you were too sick and are now finding yourself blocked by sellers who are restricting buyers with too many unpaid item strikes.
Are you saying that you got an unpaid item strike? EBay doesn't regard anything as a legitimate excuse for nonpayment. If they started accepting excuses every buyer who didn't pay would start using that excuse to get out of their strike, whether the excuse was valid or not. If you only received one strike and it was your first you can contact the UK customer service. They often will do a courtesy removal of your first strike.
