pre-order item that hasn't been shipped
i pre-ordered an item from a seller in China earlier this year and was told it would ship in the 2nd or 3rd quarter
and it hasn't shipped and there's been no contact from the seller so i don't know if there's anything i can do.

OP2 weeks agoi purchased it on Feb 8 and the estimated delivery date was Feb 17- April 29

You're only hope is a dispute with your payment source.

OP2 weeks agoi don't know if i can since so much time has elapsed. its been a lot more than 90 days

·2 weeks agoIt doesn't hurt to try a credit card dispute, although you'll have an uphill road with it. While card issuers are required by law to allow disputes for two billing cycles after the first bill on which the charge appeared, many will allow disputes for six months and occasionally more. Since it's been more than six months you'll have to hope for the 'occasionally more'.
