Purchased and paid for a book on eBay.

Today I check on it and it says out of stock.
What are my options here?

·3 years agoYou need to look on the Shipping tab in the listing. That will tell you the seller's handling time. So now you need to look for the estimated delivery dates and be a little patient, knowing that you're covered by eBay's Money Back Guarantee.

·3 years agoIf it was "in stock" when you bought it (which it had to be, to allow the purchase), but now it says "out of stock", that means you bought the last copy....

·3 years agoIf the listing says it’s out of stock that means there’s none available. You could ask the seller if they are getting another. If not I guess your hunt for that book is on.
Wait…you purchased it? Have you looked at your purchase history for the estimated date of delivery?
if that date has passed and you don’t receive it go to your purchase history, find the book order click on the drop-down menu select “didn’t receive it†follow the prompts.
If the seller doesn’t respond with tracking or a refund you can ask eBay to step in after 3 days.

Been at this a while.

·3 years agoThat just means that eBay doesn't yet have any record of shipment, such as a carrier scan. Sometimes Media Mail doesn't get a scan for days after it's shipped.

·3 years agoIf you bought the last or only copy, then of course the listing now says "Out of stock" but that doesn't mean you won't get your copy. You have to just wait and see whether the seller ships it. If you don't receive it by the latest estimated delivery date, you can get a refund by filing a claim for "item not received."
