Possible to hide ebay Live junk?

I absolutely hate it. It makes both the phone and desktop app harder to use and is riddled with AI garbage.
I've used ebay for a long time. Often, I'm using it to look for specific things that I can't find elsewhere, and I've really liked that their search engine functions better than a lot of other sites, and actually seems to give me relevant results without being too buggy. Since they started adding ebay Live to the site, I find myself avoiding the site because it makes things harder to find.
I've left a lot of social media sites in general, because I'm sick of AI junk. The ebay live feeds are often full of AI, and I just get disgusted and it makes me want to use the site less in general. On top of that, the live junk that pops up gets in the way of my searching for the things I'm really looking for. Sometimes when I'm using the app on my phone, the live things also seem to cause the app to freeze up and not load things properly.
In the past, I've found that ebay is a better way to find a lot of the stuff I need, and lets me avoid going through places like Amazon that I'd rather not support. I'd like to keep using ebay, but I absolutely hate this junk to begin with and it's actively making the site harder and more unpleasant to use. Is there any way to turn this stuff off? I'm not having luck with the adblock think I saw another user mention.

·3 weeks agoOn a computer, you can likely use an ad blocker that lets you block custom sections of a page. There are some for mobile too, but I've not tried them, and they wouldn't do anything in the eBay app.

·3 weeks agoI only shop on my desktop and find that the little wheel in the middle on my mouse gets rid of them with a couple of flicks.
I try to think of the live ads like I think of rude people standing oblivious in the middle of an aisle looking at their phone when out grocery shopping. Just walk around them and give them no further thought......................

I believe we are stuck with anger inducing notifications ensuring some people never use ebay live...whatever it is.
