Please Fix the Offer Feature
When a seller has an item on offer, I used to be able to make an offer, wait for the seller to either accept or reject, and if accepted, pay for the item. Now when I make an offer, I am immediately asked how I want to pay for it and am no longer alerted that the buyer accepted the offer or not. The only way I know that it was accepted is when I receive an email telling me that the purchase was made. The problem is that I can no longer use my cashback apps, like Rakuten or Honey, with the new way of putting in offers. I used to be alerted that the seller accepted, and right before paying for the item hit a cashback extension to activate it, and then pay for the item. This is causing me to lose money from cashbacks which is stopping me from putting in offers altogether. That can't be good for sales as I am sure I am not the only buyer who is losing savings opportunities with this new approach. I would appreciate if eBay would either stop doing it this way, or at least do something where we have the opportunity to use our cashback apps when buying.

It looks like you have been selling long enough to know how to find your Buyer requirements list. Go to it and scroll past the usual ones that block buyers who have unpaid item strikes, and places you do not ship to... Below them are two new payment requirements that ebay added and pre-checked, opting you into them. They require an immediate payment method to be added before offers can be made or bids placed on auctions.
If you did not know about them, then you are like many other ebay sellers who did not know they have been opted into the requirements or that they even existed, because ebay's announcement was delayed until months after it had been done, and then did not post it in one of the two major Spring-Fall announcements.
If you run into the add a payment option when making an offer, you can always try contacting the seller, tell them what has happened and ask if they knew about it and if not ask if they will uncheck the options.
