Phoney United States shipping addresses
These Chinese companies are using phony cities as shipping ,like you are getting it from local state, then they ship it from China and now you're waiting weeks to get, e-bay should get rid of these scammers. I have lost a lot of trust on eBay

The China based sellers can be hard to weed out because some ship from Chinese owned warehouses in the U.S. and because of that they also register as being in the U.S.. There are things most of their listings have in common that give them away however.
Open the link below and in it click on Go To Best Answer to find out how to recognize them and how to get to their classic view feedback profile page.

Chinese sellers are not the only ones drop-shipping from China.
Probably the best way to deal with sellers that misrepresent item location is to avoid them whenever possible. The "US only" item location filter selects items that are listed as being in the United States; however, as you have seen, not every seller that lists items in the US ships from the US as they should.
Before ordering you should check the estimated delivery dates -- that is a good indication of how far away items actually ship from. Also, going to a seller's profile page or feedback page will tell you where the seller's account was registered. Although some overseas sellers do use US warehouses to ship their items (and some registered US-sellers may employ overseas drop-shippers), if a seller is registered overseas, that raises the likelihood of an item shipping from outside the US, particularly for multiple quantity commodity items. Checking seller feedback will often reveal if there are problems with long shipping times, canceled orders or other supply chain warning signs.

·4 months agoWe are well aware of the Chinese scammers. What you need to do is if you decide to purchase an item check the sellers profile and make sure that the seller is in the US and not China. Ebay doesn't police this until they get many reports. If you had a case which was closed by Ebay and you felt you were scammed then go to your payment source and file for a chargeback.

·4 months agoBuyers such as your self need to learn how to vet your sellers better.
Looking at feedback is usually a good indicator of what to expect.
The sellers actual location will be shown in the feedback page.
If you aren’t doing that it’s not eBay’s fault.
