Paypal Credit no longer working on Ebay?
Hello, this morning I have tried to make purchases, and cannot select Paypal credit as an option to pay anymore. Paypal is listed, but Paypal credit cannot be used. Neither available for offers, bids, or buy it now.
Is anyone else having this issue?

·1 year agoPay Pal credit works for buy it now...not bids or offers.
I have Pay Pal and other credit cards on file..
To buy it now from Pay Pal credit...you click on that in credit on file.
You get a number from email or text to input to pay for it on Pay Pal.

What you may need to do is remove your payment options from eBay entirely here:
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list
Please note, you may need to log in to get to that page.
You can remove your preferred method of payment. Then when going through checkout, you should have an option to choose PayPal, but then have a way to select PayPal Credit again.
Alternatively, you can set PayPal to use PayPal Credit as a default payment option, BUT, you have to go to this page in PayPal to set it for eBay:
https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/preferences/payments
Visit the section labeled automatic payments.
In the list look for eBay. You may need to "show more" if you have a lot here. Then you can set the defaults for payments to eBay here for PayPal Credit if you want as well.
You can then later change them back when done.
I have had to do this in the past. But the best way is the removal of the default payment option for purchases. I would go that route.

For fixed priced listings that are not IPR, the problem may be related to PayPal itself. They decide whether or not to "offer" PayPal credit (or PayPal Pay in 4) to you on a particular transaction based on various factors, such as price, whether or not you have qualified for PP Credit in the past etc. It has NOTHING to do with whether or not PayPal Credit is advertised on the listing. eBay puts it there, and the seller has no control.
