Paid for an out of stock item. Never got the item or a refund.
Why have I not gotten a refund on this. The site just says there is a technical error when I inquire.
The seller attempted to cancel this order, but there was an issue with the refund. If you don’t receive it by the estimated delivery date, please report that the item hasn’t arrived.

·2 years agoFor a seller cancellation the seller has to make good on the funds for the refund before eBay will refund.
To make eBay liable for the refund you have to "If you don’t receive it by the estimated delivery date, please report that the item hasn’t arrived." Specifically:
If you don't get a package from the seller by the time the estimated delivery date you were given when you paid has fully passed, go to your Purchase History for that item, click the link for more options and select that you haven't received the item, then follow instructions from there. If you haven't gotten the item as described or a full refund after 3 days (but before 21 days) from doing so go back and you should find a link to "Ask eBay to step in" to get your refund.
