package arrived or not?

My item was marked delivered but is not on my porch. The photo on fedex tracking is not my house and the street address numeric test does not pass. The seller sent me a picture of the package on my porch, but it is not there, and it is not the fedex picture. This is bizarre.
9/12/2026: Today I was able to speak to a fedex representative. They confirmed the tracking number provided by the seller (and linked at eBay) is not labeled for my address, even though they could not tell me what the labeled address is. My guess is a shady bulk ship outfit is being used by the seller, with low cost contract drivers for the last mile, who take a picture ... and also the package.
9/14/2026: My guess is this is some type of organization utilizing "b2b drop shipping" and an underground courier network for "the last mile". I hope someday eBay and the trusted couriers have a badge certifying end-to-end shipping. Clearly tracking fulfillment by delivery zip code is insufficient and being exploited.

OP3 weeks agothe last one i left feedback for was refunded due to not receiving the item. fedex had no photo on that one. i have no idea if they wm dropshippers.
prior to that, same as this time, similar photo of an industrial building, but that package suddenly appeared several hours later with no notification. it looked dropshipped, but that was weeks ago and i don't recall the specific packaging.
i cannot understand it. hopefully this one will suddenly appear today.

OP3 weeks agoyes it is strange. the tracking link shows an industrial building in the photo, not my porch.
the seller later emailed me a picture of a package on my porch, but it is not from the fedex link. just an attachment. there is no package on my porch.
fedex has a reporting option where the recipient enters their street number. this test fails ("does not match label") so i can't report it.
my address in ebay, and the seller's email match, but the fedex test does not match the street number.

·3 weeks agoMake sure that all your facts are correct and you have done your research....then don't take no for an answer when you're presenting your case.... get your refund and say thank you

OP3 weeks agoSo I have screenshots and this is the 2nd time in three weeks. Engaging in otherworldly tracking discussions, filing for refunds on a regular basis, and thanking people for it, is not an option beyond strike 2. This appears to be a degradation of service.
