·2 years agoHood shields for full-sized pickup trucks. I don't think that any carrier will ship something that is 5 1/2 to 6 feet long for $24.

·2 years agoeBay got out of the shipping AND HANDLING policing business years ago when it restructured the fee schedule to include the s/h fee in the "total price" for calculating the fee, and changing the lowest price sort of search results to price plus s/h, getting rid of the incentives to inflate it.
While the shipping policy page does still contain that the fee must only cover actual expenses relating to shipping, it is not one that a buyer should rely on to ignore the s/h fee when comparison shopping. ALWAYS check the availability, cost and estimated delivery to your location in the shipping section of the listing (do not rely on quotes elsewhere since they might be to somewhere else).

·2 years agoYou should have seen the potential shipping charge BEFORE you placed the order.
Also, you apparently believe that your post here is addressing eBay. It's not. These Boards are all composed of eBay buyers and sellers. So let me point out that the seller isn't our seller.

·2 years agoShipping has gone up and sellers can charge what they want to ship.

·2 years agoeBay does not police shipping fees any more than they police the items cost.
If you dont like the total cost of the item, dont buy it.

·2 years agoeBay doesn't have any rules about overcharging for shipping. The shipping cost might be accurate; UPS has some serious surcharges for large items.
