Over charged for shipping
Saw a listing for a item that was accepting offers, with a listed shipping cost , I put in a offer and it was accepted. When I saw the invoice from paypal the shipping cost was more than the listing. No one at ebay is helpful and seller says it's not his problem?

·2 years agoReason number 101, why I'll never buy anything that has auto-pay.
My advice is if you can't review the final charges first for any errors before paying, don't buy it. Trying to fix it after they have your money is impossible.

·2 years agoEncountering discrepancies between the listed shipping cost and the actual invoice can indeed be disheartening. Despite putting in an offer that was accepted, finding out that the shipping cost is higher than expected can be unsettling. It's understandable to seek assistance, but unfortunately, the lack of helpful responses from eBay adds to the frustration. Hearing from the seller that it's not their problem can feel like hitting a dead end. If possible, it might be worth exploring other avenues for resolving this issue.

OP2 years agoYes it had tax, but the shipping charges changed. 78.08 is what I was charged

OP2 years agoThe item was 40.00 , the shipping was listed as 25.66 but I was charged 32.31.

·2 years agoThe most likely reason for that difference is that the shipping label and the search page were using different ZIP Codes for your location. It's showing $36.51 to ship to me.

Is this purchase through eBay or somewhere else?
