Out of stock / seller not refunding me
I bought an item before Christmas, it said last item . It is now the 2 week of January and the seller still has not shipped when I click on my item it says out of stock . I’ve tried msg the seller 3 times to inquire if the item was out of stock when I purchased, if so kindly refund me and I will purchase from another . Selller will not communicate with me . I tried to click on refund and the seller is not allowing a refund either. This is bogus and they will not get a good review from me . I would respect them more if the would communicate and say sorry it’s out of stock I will issue a refund or tell me anything. According to eBay it hasn’t even shipped and I ordered before Christmas so 2 weeks have passed no shipping has occurred and not communication. I find it ridiculous that this seller has a 100 % service score but the reviews are not for the item it bought but other items. It says I have to wait until the end of February to file item not received. eBay should help buyers to determine that the item is out of stock and give a refund instead of tieing my money up for a month in a half before they will even offer a resolution. If I was a seller I would definitely offer a refund immediately if my item was out of stock and would definitely make communication to my buyer. How can a buyer give a seller a good review with no communication !? I have bought on eBay for many years and never had to reach out to a seller asking after 3 weeks why my item hasn’t shipped three times with no response.

·2 years agoThere was an estimated delivery date seen in the listing. Have to assume that that date was satisfactory to your needs or you would not have made the purchase.
You cannot open an item not received case until that EDD has passed.

·2 years agoIf this is for the seller of the model cars it is specefied under the shipping method that the seller is in sri lanka and has an extended handling time of more than 17 days.

·2 years agoOut of Stock means you bought the last one.
Did you actually open a return case already and the seller denied it? Or did you just attempt to open a case?
One day after the latest estimated delivery date provided by eBay when you purchased the item, you can file a Item Not Received case if you have not received your item.
Keep an eye on the estimated delivery dates on future purchases.

·2 years agoPerhaps not any consolation to your present situation but maybe a lesson learned for the future to check the expected delivery date and make sure it is acceptable before sending money.
Make sure you are ok with the potential of no product and no refund until the expected delivery date has passed. As you have found, some of them are quite lengthy (you said end of February.). I'm willing to bet you will pay closer attention to the estimated delivery date in the future.
