Ordering from Japan
I’m wanting to order an item from Japan for $95 plus tax with free shipping. I’ve heard lately of people ordering from overseas and being charged on the delivery end. What should I expect to incur in costs?

It is hard to estimate what you will actually pay.

I need to expand on my answer, since you don't mention what the purchase is. Please read this thread concerning tariffs based on where a product is made:

Right now there should be no additional charges. Effective Aug. 1 there will be a 25% tariff on goods from Japan, although the tariff situation is still fluid. So order soon.
