Order one item twice, 2 days after shipped notified lost in mail. Given refund. Why?I ordered
I ordered an auto bike carrier from two different venders on 2 different orders and both the buyers are located in NJ. On both occasions I was notified the carriers shipped, and then within 2 days on both orders I was notified the FedEx packages were lost in the mail, and I was given a refund. Then within a couple of days I was notified that the items were delivered to my post office box, but neither package was actually delivered. Are the buyers collecting credit card information, or what is the purpose of ruse?.??

·3 years agoSellers don't get your credit card information. The only entity that gets it is Ayden, eBay's payment processor. If you've been refunded it seems unlikely it's a scam. It sounds more like a glitch with a dropshipper. If both sellers indicated the item was coming from NJ it's possible they both use the same dropshipper.

I think you meant 'sellers' (above)... but sellers have no way of knowing how a buyer pays. Hmmm... 🤔
