Opened the wrong case
Hello to everyone again. Guys sorry for asking again. If I opened the wrong case is it possible to change it or better to wait for the ebay answer. I ordered the kindle Paperwhite readers and instead of it I received empty USPS envelope with red stamp (find loose in the mail) on it. There was a label inside the envelope. I opened a wrong claim item was not received. What to do now? The seller didn't answer

I'm with @kathiec. Close your INR and open a Return. If you get a shipping label, send back the empty envelope. If you don't get a shipping label after 3 days, escalate the case to eBay. You'll be made whole. Good luck.

OP10 months agoThanks for you and others for help. I closed first wrong request and opened easily new for returning with adding all photos. Hope it will be helpful 🤞🙠thanks a lot

Hopefully, you will come back and read this. You have posted several topics about not receiving an item over the last couple of days, on different boards. To find those posts and read the answers, look in the upper right corner of this page for your ebay generated Avatar circle click on it and from the menu select My profile.
That will open a page that has a banner with your community information in it. Under the banner on the left you will see Posts Replies. Posts is in a blue color because you have not Replied to any of the topics you wrote. Under Posts are the titles of the topics/posts you have written, and clicking on the titles will open them so you can read what people have told you to do.

Normally you can open an item not as described case after closing an item not received case, but not the other way around. So you should close your not received case, then see if you can open a not as described return through your purchase history.
If that doesn't work you'll need to dispute the charge with your payment source.

·10 months agoGlad you got the new case opened. Just as an fyi (because there's lots of confusion about it), there's actually logic behind when you can or can't open a new case. If you open an item not as described return and close it, you can't then open an item not received case, but it's not possible to know that something you didn't receive isn't as described. But it is possible to open an item not received case, then have the package arrive and the item be not as described.
The thing you can never do is close a case and then reopen the same case.

·10 months agoYou can try contacting eBay CS reps on social media for their input. Usually you can not change a claim, once you make it, that is your statement. Had you claimed INAD, it would be easy .
If an appeal fails with eBay, go to your payment source and file for a charge back claiming "fraud" . Keep the envelope and whatever was sent, you may need to send pix to your bank
