Omron HCRT Watch / imyCraftJP
Purchased a $780 watch from seller in May. It was not able to be charged after about 3 months. Contacted the seller, they were polite enough, but no help. The watch is not sold in the US so there is no support. My main complaint is that if there is no local support, they should clearly indicate that on their posting. If they had, i would not have made the purchase.

·10 months agoThere is no warranty on most items sold on eBay. eBay covers you for 30 days from delivery. After that, your on your own. Sounds like a " gray market " item. Many companies sell items in other countries that are not sold in the US. They get imported but the company will not support them or honor any warranties.
Some are not sold here because they sell them for less in other countries then they do in the US but are the same items. Others don't meet all US rules for safety and such. That is a risk of such purchases.
Search Google, Yahoo and Youtube. You might find some help there.

After 30 days your money back guarantee on eBay was void

·10 months agoThe only thing you can do is research, research, research...next time.
Unfortunately this time it's too late to do anything through eBay.
Have you checked with a watch repair or jewler? You may get lucky.
I once knew a watch/clock repair guy that took an old watch of mine with no apparent support and fixed it. A Russian immigrant (the watch wasn't). This was years ago though.
With a watch that costs $780 I sure would give it a try.....................
