@topper_wilddong,
First of all we are ebay members both buyers and sellers just like you. We cannot delete topics you have posted or your account if that is what you meant by your last reply.
No one was pointing fingers at you. We did try to inform you of ebay's policies concerning the Community Boards, and the buying of some items.
The reason for not being able to name and shame, is that it could and has been abused, which would put ebay in the position of promoting Libel if someone posted a falsehood about another ebay member on the site.

@topper_wilddong,
Did you know that Pre-Order items are not supposed to be listed if the release/guaranteed delivery date is more than 40 days from the date the listing was started? If you bought the item and it was not supposed to be available within that time frame, then the item was not covered by the Money Back Guarantee. Read the link below. Hopefully your bank will recover the loss.
So if you did not receive what you ordered and paid for, did you open an item not received case?
eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers is very good, but it's up to the buyer to read it, understand it and use it in a timely fashion.
WHY did you have to go through your bank to get a refund? You could have opened the INR, returned to it 4 days later, asked eBay to step in and you would have been refunded.
Please read the MBG so you will know how to handle this if it happens again.
ETA: You are also a seller, have been here five years and had no idea how to use the Money Back Guarantee?
Well let's see. I emailed the seller to ask about delivery in November which was 2 months after the initial order. He replied it would ship in the first week of December. So I was okay with that. Then I went out of the country for 3 weeks and when I returned the item was not delivered and it was after the 90 day money back guarantee. So I opened a ticket but I was outside the 90 day window and told to go thru my financial institution. Prior to opening the ticket on ebay I did email the seller twice to no avail. So I did everything in my power in this situation. Thank you.
Money Back Guarantee is for 30 days from estimated date of delivery or up to 30 days from date of delivery. Not 90 days. You can leave feedback for up to 60 days.
You may be able to file a chargeback through your credit card some give you up to 180 days to do so.

OP1 year agoI guess what was the point of posting a concern here if everyone points the finger at the buyer when the seller is the thief. Good day.
