No help from seller, no help from ebay
Summary: quarterbuck experienced a problem with an item purchased on eBay, where the package was marked as delivered but never received. Despite contacting the seller and filing a complaint with eBay, the issue was not resolved, and they were unable to leave feedback due to eBay's policies. momtoabeautifuldaughter advised contacting the post office for delivery confirmation, while stainlessenginecovers suggested obtaining written proof from the carrier to appeal the decision. magictouchboutique shared a similar issue with tracking errors and poor customer service, expressing frustration with eBay's handling of such situations. ryry-jj recommended contacting the bank for a chargeback claim, using evidence from the carrier about the incorrect delivery.
I bought an item on ebay, tracking said it was delivered, no picture to show where it was delivered. I never received the package. Emailed seller. Seller said tracking showed delivered. Did not follow through to see where it was delivered, no apologies, nothing. I filed a complaint with ebay. They said the seller showed tracking was delivered and closed the case. I filed an appeal. Was told to contact seller. I did. No response from seller. I left a negative feedback for the seller. The feedback was never posted and I cannot repost.

·1 month agoGo to your bank/payment source to file for a charge back by contacting the fraud department and let them know you were the victim of the fake tracking scam. Have the statement from the carrier about the package wasn't delivered to your on file eBay address as proof and photo as evidence for your charge back claim

·1 month agoYou usually get an email in your (inbox of emails from everyone)...and the email will have the complete address it was delivered to.
Sellers are not responsible for porch pirates or apartment pirates.

If tracking shows it was delivered, that is the ONLY proof a seller has against buyers that simply say 'I didn't get it' (oldest trick in the book to get free stuff).
So, naturally YOU have to jump through MAJOR hoops.
First- get proof from the carrier that they did NOT deliver to you.
When you get turned down the first time you try the 'I didn't receive' you can then 'appeal'. Use that Written Proof from the carrier and submit it (must be on their letterhead etc.)

·1 month agoSince the seller won the INR case then you are blocked from leaving feedback. You need to contact the post office and find out where it was delivered. You lost the INR case because seller just had to show proof of delivery to your zip code.

OP1 month agoThank you for the information. I didn't know they would block my feedback or else I would have left feedback first. This just might be the end of ebay for me,
