No estimated delivery date and item still has not shipped
Hello,
I made a purchase but there is no estimated delivery date showing up on the item.
The item has not shipped yet so there is not any tracking information.
I cant recall there not being an estimated delivery date on a purchases before, is this normal or something that happens?
The item is being shipped within the the United States via the postal service. Normally items are tagged with an estimated delivery date when you the once shipped a tracking number is applied.

Try to open an INR claim, it will show you the EDD there.

·3 years agoCheck your payment ("ORDER CONFIRMATION") confirmation email you got when you paid. That should have the REAL delivery estimate that eBay will go by to judge when you can file for Item Not Received under "Order Details".

·3 years agoThere are two kinds of estimated delivery dates. There's the date the carrier gives when the package gets an acceptance scan. While that date is useful, eBay goes by the estimated delivery dates shown on the listing. To view those click into the listing through your purchase history.

It has only been 5 days since I completed payment. I'm just not sure why an estimated date for delivery isn't given.

It's showing me, Estimated between Mon, Mar 20 and Thu, Mar 23

·3 years agoPurchased my item 2 weeks ago and have reached out the the seller multiple times to no reply. What do I do? No option for have Ebay step in or "item never recieved" someone help please!

·3 years agoDid you notice the date of the original post here? It's usually better to start your own thread after all this time has elapsed.
However, in the listing where you made your purchase, you saw an ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE. If that date has passed by more than a day, you need to go to your My eBay> Purchase History and find that particular purchase. Click on it. On the drop down menu, choose "Did not receive" and open a case.
Then you wait 3 more days for a reply.
No help after that? Return to the case and request that eBay step in. You have 30 days to do this with eBay. No reason or need to contact eBay or the seller, all automated.
Have you read the Money Back Guarantee for buyers? It offers very good help if/when a transaction goes wrong. The catch is that buyers need to read it, understand it and use it in a timely manner.
