No Bid Confirmation Button (Desktop Web Ebay, not app)
I just went to bid on an item, opened the item, got the Place Bid blue button, hit that,
then I got a small white pop-up box saying Place your bid followed by three dollar amount suggestions in blue, and the option for "Your max bid" amount to be entered, and if entered, turns the grayed-out Bid button blue. At the very bottom of this white pop-up box it reads "By selecting Bid, you are committing to buy this item if you are the winning bidder."
I entered an amount, hit the blue bid button, and it bid.
I was expecting a confirmation screen first, but got no confirmation screen. What happened to the confirmation screen?
(This is via a Windows 11 computer desktop internet Ebay site, not a smartphone app.)

I noticed that as well, but figured that ebay decided the "By selecting bid..." was all that was needed rather than that and a Confirm button. The confirm button after all never kept people from entering the wrong bid amount, so I guess they decided it was redundant since there was the blurb about committing to pay if one won. They make seemingly random changes these days for no apparent reason.
