"New" Phone scams
I have bought 3 phones from 3 separate sellers that claimed the phones were new. All very reputable sellers with very high ratings. All three phones had non original displays. The displays were sluggish and had thick bezels. List of phones below.
Samsung S22 Ultra
Samsung S22+
Samsung s23+
I had never had this issue before on eBay I have bought so many phones and never had this happened. Is there anything eBay can do about this other than refunds?

No, there's nothing eBay can do beyond refunding through their Money Back Guarantee. There are nearly 2 billion listings on eBay, and zero of those products that eBay has physically inspected. So how would they be able to proactively detect a "thick bezel" on a phone?

OP1 year agoYeah I get it. Not that I had been expecting ebay to inspect the items but it's crazy that these big sellers are doing this.
At least eBays return policy is good.
