New Feedback display
Something changed and the usual quick check of Feedback on my purchase history is no longer an option. It was so easy to see when I need to leave and when I received Feedback, now, I have to hunt to see at each individual purchase by digging into various menu options. They took a simple and useful visual tool and made it a pain.

I find that clicking on my feedback profile (numbers in ()) shows me at the very top of the feedback list what sellers I need to leave feedback for, no hunting around.
Or go to your purchase history it's 2 boxes under the blue box that says RETURN THIS ITEM no hunting there either.
My buyer feedback is automated so I don't have to go hunting for that either.

OP4 years agoThanks for the reply but I'm talking about pending feedback from my sellers, not the feedback that I should leave as a buyer. And even then, before you did not have to go to your feedback profile or any other locations, it was all there in one convenient place, both me needing to leave feedback and those sellers that (hopefully) leave me feedback.

·4 years agoI've been on eBay since 2004 I've never seen pending feedback from sellers. Unless your refering to the envelop that would be greyed out if you didn't receive feedback from a seller
Example below my seller left me feedback so the envelop is colorful when there is no feedback received it is greyed out like the pencil next to it, it shows I haven't given the seller feedback yet, you'll see this in your purchase history.
If this isn't helpful I don't know what else to tell you other than look at your recent feedback. 🤷🤷

OP4 years agoYES, this is exactly what I'm talking about! The sample you sent is how my purchases used to look, but the new format does not have this. What I'm looking for is a way to make my purchases look like the sample you sent.
And by "pending" what I meant was the envelope is not colored in, so you knew that a feedback was not received and thus pending, which is not visible under the new format.
I just don't see how the new display is better when it gives me less information, especially taking away one of the 4 things (Pay/ship/feedback sent & received) that I should have at a glance, just like the sample you sent.

·4 years agoI’m not exactly sure what new format you’re referring to. The techs have rounded off square boxes changed how the “ Sell Your item form “looks but other than that the platform hasn’t changed much from what I can tell in the past couple of years since I returned to selling.
Just taking a stab in the dark here as I’m not tech savvy but On my pc I use Windows 10 with Microsoft Edge and Safari on iPad (I see the same stuff on both devices.). It could be whatever browser you’re using is incompatible with eBays format. 🤷🏻♀️

OP4 years agoThis is what I have now, a definite change from the sample you sent (and what I had before). As you can see I can't just, at a glance, see if I left or received feedback. I just found that info useful, that's all.
As far as how useful the feedback is, as others have mentioned, is another question and was not really part of my original question. While I appreciate the info on it from others, it does not address the issue of the change in format for purchased items. If feedback is no longer a valid or useful tool, I can understand in removing it, but then why even have the tracker showing the numbers?
