Negative Feedback
I've been a member for over 20+ years, and once in awhile I get scammed. more in the beginning that I put off as inexperience but lately it has happened more often and now they've found ways to piggy back a shipping # to a real shipping number to show the item delivered so no refund and no recourse, I depended on feedback as a tool to who I buy from but as I checked my negative feedback given, none has not been posted. how can a feedback system like that be trusted

·2 years agoIf you get the scam of people sending things to a different address that is what is on your account. Be sure to ask USPS to do a GPS GLOBAL POSITIONING inquiry of where this package ended up. That data submitted officially from USPS can be uploaded in a file or an official email to ebay when you are fighting a case of non delivery. Your postmaster where you live can retrieve this information in their database because all packages scanned off and the delivery location have this scan. This as a warning to these scammers using this technique to steal money or product.

While getting the GPS info can be helpful, eBay does not accept emails from shippers, because emails can be faked. Many who have received emails from shippers and tried to appeal a closed INR dispute, with them lose the appeal because of that. They will only accept a photo or scan of a signed handwritten letter on company stationary.

It sounds like you have been the victim of a fake tracking scam. Something an envelope or small empty box, was delivered someplace within your zip code, but not to you. If you open the link below and click on the Go to Best Answer button, you can find out how to get a refund.

There is nothing you can do about the feedback you left, if it said anything about not receiving the item, because you lost the Item Not Received dispute which means you can't leave negative feedback about that issue or it can be removed. However, there may be negative feedback saying others did not receive items on the seller's feedback, because they did not open disputes. When you check a seller's profile page you can click on the numbers of negative and neutral feedback a seller has received to read only those comments.

·2 years agoNot sure I fully understand the problem. But, if you have opened item not received cases and left FB to that effect, the fact that there is tracking showing delivery (although maybe not to you) is the probable reason the FB was removed.
When tracking indicates delivery, but you did not receive it, YOU need to check this out with the carrier who marked it delivered. The carrier will have a GPS record of the address where he delivered it. He may not tell you that address, but he can state that either (1) it was delivered to the address on the package or (2) it was delivered elsewhere. Or, there is always the possibility of a porch pirate.
