Need help getting a refund from an item not listed in my recent purchases
The seller had good feedback, and had a disclaimer that the item would take a long time since it's custom made, the expectation was two months. However, they've been radio silent for months, long enough for the item to drop out of my recent purchases. It still says "awaiting shipment" but I have no option to report the item didn't arrive, as it doesn't show up in my recent purchases when trying to report that.
Ebay's support articles keep sending me in a loop over this and I have no idea what to do at this point.

You said the seller has been "radio silent". Does this mean you have messaged them to ask about the shipment but they have not responded?
If you are sending messages to the seller and they are not responding, file a chargeback with your credit card company to get a refund.

Go back to your purchase history and above your most recent one you will see eBay's default setting of Orders See orders: "Last 60 days"
Click on Last 60 days, and a drop down menu will appear, from it select. ALL or If you purchased the item early this year 2026 or in late 2025 select one of those years. You should then be able to find the listing and the order details where you can find the last estimated delivery date.
If that date has passed by more than 30 days, you no longer are protected by the Money Back Guarantee (MBG). If you paid with a credit card you may be able to file a charge back through them, call the customer service phone number on the back of the card and ask them if you still have time to do that.

I assume from the post from the OP that the 30 day MBG is no longer valid, so the OP providing the EDD would be a moot point. Too bad that they waited so long. 😞

·5 months agoUnless it was listed like a pre-sale to be delivered within 40 days or so, you are out of luck with ebay. As @lady_madonna says you only had the 30 day period for the MBG, so your best action is to contact you CC/bank for assistance

·5 months agoYou had 30 days from the last given delivery date to file a case. If that has passed and you paid by credit card, contact your card company. eBay can no longer help.

·5 months agoYou can see all of your purchases by going to your Purchase History and choose to "See orders: "All" .
If it has been more than 30 days since the estimated date of delivery that shows in the Order Details in your Purchase History, you will not be able to use the Ebay Money Back Guarantee to request a refund.
If it is too late to file a request through Ebay, you can contact the payment source you used to pay for the item.
