NEED A CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON ASAP TO DEAL WITH A MAJOR EBAY PURCHASE ISSUE...
Summary: darrgroz-0 expressed frustration about the difficulty of contacting eBay's customer service for a seller issue, specifically asking for a phone number to speak with a human. Other participants in the discussion did not provide any phone numbers. Later, cowgir2703 shared their experience of considering legal action due to unresolved refund issues, leading to responses advising against the high cost of legal action for a relatively small refund. Some participants also commented on the age of the original thread, noting it was an old post.
Does anyone have an actual phone number to reach a human and not "AI'?? I hate the fact eBay is so hard to get a hold of a human to help resolve a seller issue when the seller is not from the US!!
If anyone could please send me a customer service number to a human, I'd really appreciate it!
Thank you!

Start checking the date a topic was posted. This one is 9 months old. Look under the OP's usename.

·2 months agoBefore you start smacking people's hands you might want to recognize that none of the people whose hands were slapped were responding to the 9-month-old message. They were responding to a current response on it. Since whomever is moderating the forums now no longer seems to be concerned with necro threads (as evidenced by the reports I've made that have been ignored) it seems pointless to appoint yourself as the playground monitor.

·2 months agoWe're getting a Attorney, cause no one wants to contact us or talk to us, we still haven't had our $140 returned, or Strut replaced, we received second one, but first one came EMPTY BOX, we need the part cause it's dangerous driving a vehicle sideways we have children in the vehicle to, now going into a month since we We're told we'd get a refund, no one wants to verbally talk to us, so we'll go the route of an attorney. Thanks God Bless, God sees what's happening.

·2 months agoI see you paying far more in legal fees than the $140 refund. But I remember a Psalm about a vengeful God, so if that's the way you wanna go...

·2 months agoSo you're going to pay an attorney $2000 to attempt to sue ebay for a $140 item? Attorneys will NOT take this on for Free.
Spend $140 locally and fix your car; then when you got an extra couple g's hanging around to waste, try suing someone over it.

·2 months ago · EditedYou would need to go to court and file a lawsuit not hire an attorney. The cost of hiring an attorney to just review your case will cost more that the $140. This is where you contact your payment source and have them reverse the charge if there is an issue.

·2 months agoIn my area, most attorney’s charge $350 and up for the initial consultation (unless it’s a personal injury case, where payment is contingent upon them winning). In 2021, I paid an attorney $11,000 to settle my mom’s estate and set up a trust. In 2024, I paid an attorney $3500 to file a lawsuit against someone.
And you’re never guaranteed to win even with an attorney. You don’t sound like you have that kind of money to gamble with.

The name that the profession has for that possibility is "the hazards of litigation". That is such a great term, to a language lover like me.

·2 months agoIf it's been more then 30 days, not much Ebay will do.
Contact your payment source and do a chargeback, it'll be a lot cheaper then hiring an attorney.

·11 months agoSince this is your 3rd post about what seems like the same issue, how about just returning HERE and explaining your issue.
Many problems on eBay can be resolved without contacting CS. How about giving us a chance?

OP likely not finding way back to the boards.
reply to 1st thread on Sept 11 provided needed guidance.

·11 months ago@darrgroz-0 ,
Even if you do as the last post suggested and get a call back from an ebay rep, chances are they may not be able to help you. The Call/Chat center reps work for a contracted 3rd party company. All most of them can do is look up your issue in the ebay playbook they use, and give you canned answers.
We are live people who try and help those who run into problems, and many of us have years of experience dealing with ebay's policies and how they are applied and work arounds for them.
"I hate the fact eBay is so hard to get a hold of a human to help resolve a seller issue when the seller is not from the US".
From that statement alone, I'm going to guess you ordered something from a foreign most likely a China based seller who provided a tracking number, that got a Delivered scan, but nothing was delivered to your address.

·11 months agoTo contact customer service you need to go to chat box, then type in your issue, then type in agent please need to speak to agent. Then have an agent call you back. That's the only way to get ahold of an agent.
Now if you tell us your issue someone here might be able to answer any questions you may have.
