I believe this feature (My Garage) has a flaw. It lets you select only year, brand, model and trim. There is no way to specify transmission type (manual or automatic), and this leads to suggestions that aren't applicable to my car. For example, items to modify a center console differ due to different layout. I can imagine, it's even worse if you try to purchase transmission-related products, because recommendations there can be way off.

·2 years agoHaha it has many flaws. It entirely depends on sellers knowing exactly what they are selling and entering all the information correctly. I would never trust the database here or the other big aftermarket sites.

Best advice get the part number you need from the original manufacturer. Search for that part number and completely ignore disregard "helpful advice" from eBay telling you it will or will not fit.

I was mostly hoping the eBay would take an action and fix the bug(s).
But anyway, will report to their technical issues team and see what comes out of it.
