Must leave product review BEFORE leaving seller feedback ?
Seems I cannot leave seller feedback unless I first leave a product review.
I like to leave seller feedback as I receive. Their service deserves this.
I sometimes wait until I test product. Some items need a longer period to comment on product.
This burdens buyers with doing things twice and keeping track.
In effect buyers now have to do things twice and delay them altogether. Not good.
This will result in lost feedback for sellers.
I suggest seller feedback FIRST and product feedback at the buyer's discretion.

·1 year agoMakes no difference on the buyers decision to leave feedback. For buyers who do leave feedback actually just care about leaving feedback to the seller not about product review.

·1 year agoBuyers should not feel a burden to do anything. All feedback, whether a product review or on the seller, are optional.

·1 year agoLeaving a star rating for a product is entirely optional. It is not required in order to leave feedback for a seller.

·6 months agoAs of today, unless you use this link: https://www.ebay.com/fdbk/leave_feedback, you are required to do as such, at least on certain items. Bought some car parts from a Subaru dealer through eBay, and was greeted with a Product Review page that did have a spot to add feedback, but you did have to review the product. Was able to get around it by going to the above link, though. I recommend bookmarking it on your computer, tablet, and phone, depending on which device you use the most for eBay.

Not for me. I can still leave feedback without any product ratings, even for new items.
