Mistakenly requested to cancel an order.
I accidentally submitted a request to cancel an order I did not wish to cancel. I reached out to the seller and he told me to "cancel the cancel request". I do not see this option anywhere and really need this item to ship today. As of now it just says cancellation pending. Can anyone help? Thanks.

·1 year agoOk, this is fun...most likely the item will not ship today since the seller is expecting you to do something that you cant, and you are expecting the seller to do something you told them not to do in the first place. I think it may be 48 hours before anything happens....hopefully the seller can piece it together and know what they need to do.

Something you need to understand about cancelling an ebay transaction is. You cannot unilaterally cancel a transaction. The seller has to agree to the cancellation and they are not required to accept the request.
When you win an ebay auction, Have an offer accepted or commit to buy, you enter into a contract with the seller, and no one party to a contract can cancel it.

·1 year agoThere is no way for a buyer to "cancel the cancel request" however the seller can choose to decline the request on their end, or the seller can do nothing in which case the system will auto-decline in a couple days and the seller will be expected to ship.
