Misrepresented
Hello. Please help me. I bought a spare part for a car, they sent it to me, but they sent it incomplete, they didn’t send what I needed. And before buying, I asked them by email, and they replied that everything was assembled. And now they lie and do not solve the problem. I ask for your support. Don't let your customers get scammed.

·3 years agoPlease understand that you are not dealing with eBay directly here. This board consist of buyers and sellers alike that help each other out. Regarding your issue, if you still want the piece, is best to deal directly with seller. eBay cannot force the seller to send the missing part. If seller is uncooperative, then is best to return for full refund, but you have 30 days from item receipt to file claim.

·3 years agoIf you open an "Item Not As Described" return, the seller will have to provide a return shipping label at their expense. Odds are they will NOT send you the missing part.
You WILL lose money if you keep waiting on them and messaging them, and not opening a return. You will need to take and upload photos of what you received to the return claim, along with a short explanation of the issue.

OP3 years agoBut I don't ask for a refund, have them send me the missing part. I live in Georgia and I have to pay money and rather big money for sending. Why should I lose money because of their incompetence? Please help.

·3 years agoYou're registered in the US, so are you referring to the state of Georgia or the country? If it's the country the seller won't be able to send a return label. But eBay will require the seller to send you the funds to return the item. If the seller fails to do so eBay typically will refund without requiring the item's return. In either case you won't be out any money.

·3 years agoGo to your purchased item section on eBay, look for item in question, and select return to sender. Use item not as described. Wait 3-4 days, if no action, then ask eBay to step in, you will get a return label. Stop communicating with seller. You will return everything to seller and receive your full refund. You have 30 days from item delivery to do this. While you wait for return process, please get yourself familiarized with eBay's Money Back Guarantee.
