·9 months agoebay is automated...you have the 30 day eMBG. No need to contact anyone. Followed the steps for a proper return. The return/refund process doesnt work too well if you try to do it your way. Plus a lawyer will charge you $800/hr what @bonanza125 just told you for free
I have always said...sellers need to know & understand the rules of shipping...& buyers need to know the & understand the rules of returns in order to operate in on line marketplaces. If sellers do not know how to ship, they lose, if buyers do not know how to return, they lose.

You don't need to contact eBay. The system is automated. Open a Return request and make yourself whole. Good luck.

·9 months agoGo to your Purchase History Page https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/purchase
Click on Return Item
Select Doesn't Work or Defective as the reason
Print the label and send the package back
You are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee
You definitely do not need to talk to anyone at eBay about returning merchandise. There is no point in holding a grudge against eBay since you will be refunded.

eBay will help if you follow their procedures.
eBay has a pretty simple policy when a buyer claims to get something that was not correctly described:
If you speak with a lawyer, you will end up paying him a couple hundred dollars just to have him tell you the exact same thing.

·9 months agoIf it's not as described then file a case against the seller. You don't need to talk to Ebay or a lawyer. Ebay will just tell you to file a case as long as its within 30 days. A lawyer will just tell you to go through Ebay and say this is a civil matter not criminal. Then you spend more money paying the lawyer for advice which you can receive in this community for free. Now as far as getting ahold of Ebay you must go through chatbox then type in your issue. Yes the automated system will ask you questions. You then type "Agent Please" "Agent." Then eventually a pop up will appear "Have us call you" Click on that. Then Ebay agent will call you back.

·9 months agoDid the seller send you a return label, so you could return it for a refund?

·9 months agoHave you tried opening an "Item Not As Described" case so you can return it for a full refund? Ebay has a Money Back Guarantee for this sort of thing. But sure, go and hire a lawyer.
P.S. Your post would be a lot easier to read if you broke it up into multiple sentences. Just my 5 cents.
