Listing times for Buy it Now or Best Offer items
How can you tell how long an item has been or will be listed when it is a "Buy it Now or Best Offer" listing?

If you change the default search option from Best Match, to Time: Ending soonest or Newly listed. It will say on an open listing when an item ends or was listed. All Buy it now items with or without Best Offer have a 30 day cycle, after which most will automatically relist.
If you are asking because you are thinking of the timing for making offers, I would say do not worry about it. Make you offer when ever you want. Below is a link to making offers and what may happen.
Do keep in mind one thing, sellers pay fees based on the total price of an item including on shipping and taxes. They can range from 13% to 20% of the price, so consider what the seller may actually receive when making an offer.
While you may consider a low ball offer as a way to start haggling, many sellers will ignore them if they think you and they are too far apart in price.
Also understand that all sellers who use ebay's basic listing tool will have Best Offer placed on their listings, whether they want to accept offers or not.
