List of Goodwills with an ebay store
I found a couple of Goodwill stores with Ebay stores I enjoy shopping on, is there a list out there of all the locations that have Ebay stores? I am sure there are more than the 3 I know of.

·11 months agoThink about it....they have their own site, they call their own shots, they answer to almost no one, their shipping discounts are insane, and they get all the merchandise for free!

·11 months agoI toured one of their facilities, it was very sophisticated and efficient. I was impressed. I was blown away by the quantity of books they sell and how organized they were

·11 months agoThe Goodwill regions have varying degrees of sophistication and computer expertise.
Some have accounts on Ebay and Amazon, their own websites for either fixed price or auction as well as their stores and by the pound warehouse outlets.
Some have sophisticated processes to determine what gets sold in which outlet.
The obvious goal is to maximize the price they get to support their worthy charitable activities.
This means that some Ebay sellers who counted on being able to make a profit on their Goodwill purchases have had to stop buying there or limited their reliance on Goodwill and resent their efforts.
I am a supporter of Goodwill of Northern New England, and buy from them at many venues including some items for personal use at their Ebay store.
I am pleased to support the good works they do.

·2 years agoI have purchased from Goodwill from their own selling platform and from some of their stores that list on Ebay. I found that the stores that sell on Ebay have a better representation of what they sell than their own platform. IMHO. Many items that i have purchased through their own platform arrived damaged or were mis represented. Yes they did take care of me (refund/return) but i have had no issues with a couple of the stores that sold on Ebay. I am sure it is location specific but that is my experience.
I don't know of any specific list of stores on Ebay. It does seem like their stores do run somewhat different from region to region.
If you do find a list, please share it on your post.
Thanks and good luck-

·11 months agoCorrect, the shopgoodwill dot com listings, from which I've purchased for years nationwide, take little care in their listings. The pictures are usually substandard and the posting staff has little to no knowledge of what it is they are listing and worse, they don't care. Perfect examples are laptops and game controllers, if it says "tested" the item may be working but something powering on means little. If it says "untested" or "not tested" you can bet it won't work. Lately they have been using AI in the item description which tells you little to nothing about the actual item you are buying. Then they burn you with shipping and handling fees, mostly becasue they use a third-party to pack and ship. I've had more than one occassion (today for example) where I received a single golf club that would have fit in a 48x4x4 box that was sent in 50x15x8 box, I do however appreciate the 65 feet (!) of bubble wrap that I'll use for my own sales....

·2 years agoShop Good Will dot com has their own website and doesn't need ebay. I used to enjoy browsing local GW, but now i think their best donations go online. I bought a perfume lot from them online years ago and every bottle arrived smashed. I never returned to the online store.

·11 months agoYes, their best donations are sold online by their e-commerce division. Either at ShopGoodwill or each region's own ebay store.
As others have noted, it would appear they don't put nearly as much effort into the listings as your average ebay seller would (or should).
I can't see paying $15-$20 for a board game when the seller can't be bothered to count the pieces to make sure they're all there, especially if they don't have free returns. But I suppose that is what happens when you are paying someone minimum wage to do your listings.

·2 years agoYou can try searching eBay stores that have "goodwill" in the store name -- that may not return every Goodwill selling account and may return some non-Goodwill results, but it should give you some additional results to try:
