Learn more about how to sell and purchase on eBay
How do I use my item number to show proof of payment transaction because I'm confused when it comes to pay at checkout. Can someone explain to me about bidding in the auction when I'm the buyer and seller of ebay..

·1 week agoYour listing is headed for a IND claim. You put condition as "used" and your AI description has it at "new, in unopened box" which is a huge descrepancy for this kind of collectable.

·1 week agoAre you talking about the one item you have listed for sale or are you talking about something you want to bid on?
I haven't seen an Auctiva counter on a listing for years. Didn't know it was still available.

Buying using Buy It Now, on ebay is pretty straight forward. However, you have to enter your payment method you entered when registering. . If you use a debit card instead of a credit card, I would strongly suggest starting a PayPal account which gives you an extra layer of protection. Or use one of the accepted electronic payment methods. No matter how you choose to pay the seller never sees your payment method they just see that you have paid. When you pay you will be told the payment has been sent, and you will receive an email in the email account you registered with ebay.
On your my ebay page, you will see items you have purchased in the Purchase History.
You do need to vet the seller's you intend to buy from and my answer in the link below tells you how to do that. It will be the reply from mudshark61369 https://community.ebay.com/forum/buying-57914/topic/i-am-new-to-ebay-how-do-i-know-if-a-seller-is-trustworthy-i-am-interested-in-punching-an-item-from-171308/#M528253
Selling on ebay is more complicated and I suggest starting out by buying and reading the various listings you see carefully. After a short while you will notice the difference between sellers who are not very good ones and those who describe well and photograph carefully. Look for any inconsistencies and prices that are lower than trending prices, or too good to be true. Those are often scams. (you should read everything on a listing page) and look over the photos carefully. There is an unwritten golden rule for selling on ebay it is:
Describe all items as if there are no photos, and photograph them as if there is no description
When you decide to start selling start out slow. Do not list expensive items right off the bat, and only set your shipping preferences to sell to U.S. based buyers at first. There is a lot of info to be absorbed before selling on ebay. Start with the links below. If you buy on ebay to resell on the site, start a separate account only for selling all you need to do that is a different email account and a checking account to have payments sent to.

If you do a Google or other online search for " Selling on ebay, getting started " you will find more links, and there are some good You tube videos that walk you through the process of creating listings. You can get many questions answered by doing on line searches starting with How do I, Can I, (your question here) followed by ,ebay
Asking questions on the Buying and Selling boards will also get you good help.
One thing you need to learn about as both a buyer and seller is eBay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) In 99% of cases you can get resolution and or a refund if you read its terms and time frames. There is a link to the policy on most all listings in the right column under the accepted payment icons under the Shop with confidence header, click on the Learn more button. Or save the link below for quick reference.

·1 week agoThe one item that is listed for sale by you, eBay ID "marcusadam84", is not an auction.
Are you asking about an item that you want to buy?
If it is an auction, bid the maximum amount that you are willing to spend. Keep in mind the shipping price that is shown in the listing, and also whether your state charges sales tax, because your total purchase will include those amounts as well as the item price.
At the end of the auction, the highest bidder is the winner.
If YOU are the winning bidder, eBay will notify you by e-mail, with instructions on how to pay through eBay.
