"eBay had placed my case “on hold” because there was a tracking number, so I called eBay and was informed that the case would be settled in my favor if the tracking had not moved by 4/17.
There is no direct to ebay phone number any longer you would have to have use the Contact Us button at the bottom right of most ebay pages to request a call back from a rep.
If you opened a dispute it should show up on your My eBay summary page, any ebay and seller responses should appear in it.
When a seller provides a tracking number they automatically extend the time they have to respond to an Item Not Received (INR) dispute proving that the item has been received by the shipper, an acceptance scan by USPS in this case. I doubt that ebay is going to extend the date past the 27th. The seller has had plenty of time to prove the item was actually sent.
I suggest that you read the terms and time frames for using ebay's Money Back Guarantee by opening the ink below.
Hopefully you're able to get your seven dollars back. I'm sure this has been very traumatic for you. I hope your personal finances have not been adversely affected too much from this. Hang in there and stay strong! 🙂
