Just say no to FedEx shipping sellers
Summary: tdebuys expressed frustration with FedEx delivery services, citing their package being misrouted despite timely shipping by the seller. shire123 and stainlessenginecovers pointed out that all carriers experience delays and suggested alternatives like shopping in stores or using different carriers. roccotacodad54 shared similar dissatisfaction with FedEx due to damaged packages, while others, like kathiec, defended FedEx, mentioning positive experiences. The conversation highlighted mixed opinions on FedEx and package delivery services in general.
Typical Tracking experience.... Will arrive today.... then no no tomorrow... then taking longer than expected. Then you check and it's already been in your state twice and is now three states away going the other direction. I'm done, I don't care about next day delivery because I prefer eBay to the "A" word, and my seller shipped ON TIME and then FED EX totally messed it up again. I love ebay but not going to be buying from Fed-ex shippers. Have a nice day.

OP1 week agoHow dare I make a comment here about shipping. bad bad me. I should never have an opinion. I know better, but no, my item is going toward the coast after being 50 miles away and silly me gets upset. Just because I need it by tomorrow and I even got a notice it was being delivered yesterday, so stayed home to get it and now it's 500 miles away.. LoL.. no right to be upset.. bad bad me.

·1 week agoI also do my best to avoid listings with FedEx as the delivery method.
My issue with FedEx isn't a time issue it's an issue with filthy beat up packages and drivers that just dump them wherever.
Some (most) have been so filthy I won't bring them into the house and I either wear gloves or scrub my hands after handling.

·1 week ago@roccotacodad54 I wouldn't lump all FedEx drivers together. Here our FedEx drivers drive up the driveway and place the packages on the porch or in the garage. Note we are in a rural area.
Very polite and neat. To date every box I have received is not damaged.
Don't generalize.

·1 week ago · EditedI'm in a rural area as well and the driver(s) we get out here from FedEx are horrible. Your experience is out of the ordinary from what I've heard anyway.
Also beat up filthy packages..................
kathiec
·1 week agoThat may be your experience, but I too have never had issues with FedEx. I actually get better service from FedEx than UPS or USPS. So the limits of "what [you've] heard" are perhaps not enough to decree what is and is not out of the ordinary. It is, after all, a big country.

·1 week agoEvery Carrier does that.
How bout 'just say no to online shopping and go get it at the store....or live with it. It will get there eventually.

OP1 week agoGood Idea, I never thought of that. I'm sure the dealers I regularly buy from that ship UPS will appreciate your suggestion.

OP1 week agoI never said they did.. I said I don't have to buy from people that use Fed Ex, last time I looked that was legal.
