I've been frauded. No response from eBay.

I purchased this. The seller stalled with no response at first. Created a Fedex lable but did not actually ship.
I requested a refund since it had not shipped. Then amazingly they said it shipped that day.
They then shipped me the wrong item from India to the US. I'm not paying to ship it back.
I feel they did not have the item listed and just sent me something else.
eBay is not responding to my contacts .
I'm going to contact my credit card.
I purchase often from eBay but this experience might send my purchases elsewhere since I'm not getting help.
Seems this happens often from RoyalRider seller.
Any one have any idea???

OP6 months agoFilled a fraud report with my credit card company. Lesson learned from this seller and from using eBay.

That seller has terrible feedback.

·6 months agoIf you've blown past your chance to open an eBay case, you can usually do a chargeback on your credit card.
If you had not received your item by the estimated delivery date shown when you purchased, you had 30 days after that date to open an item not received case.

I can't believe no one in the world sells this item except in India.
And I do ride a motor-bike and know a little.
I usually contact the shop(motorcycle shops) to get the item that I need and let the shop handle it.
The seller feedbacks would have said no to me reading them.
An item 'not as described' as you got...the seller usually has to send you a return label for free to return it.
So, not sure what you did wrong.

OP6 months agoI have attempted to contact eBay otherwise but keep running into an open return issue and there is nothing I can do?
eBay direct contact has been fruitless at this point, which is frustrating as I've purchased a lot. My faith is dwindling to do this anymore.

Apparently it isn't available there either. Seller in INDIA has indian MC parts?
92.8% positive feedback should have been terrible enough to stop you from buying. I get it that indian parts are hard to come by but your best bet is a domestic source. There are a couple that will custom make your part if needed (google is your friend).

·6 months agoI don't think he meant the bike was from the Indian Motorcycle Co., in the USA.
The part was for a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which is manufactured in Chennai, India. It's not clear if it was an aftermarket part (I think so), or OEM.

The cost of return shipping depends on the reason you selected for the return. Even if the return policy says Buyer Pays (as this one does), if you receive the wrong part, or it is not as described (NAD) in any way, then the seller has to pay for the return shipping as long as you choose the appropriate reason when you open the return.
If you opened a case for Item Not Received (INR), and then the item was delivered after that but it was not as described, then you should be able to change the type of the case. Let us know if that happened.
So, what reason did you use when opened the return?
And, was it an INR or NAD case?
However, if you have already filed a chargeback, then that cuts eBay out of the picture completely.

OP6 months agoI have upload photos of the incorrect part sent to me plus also to the seller.
How can I get eBay to contact me for those images or do they look into my messages from that seller?

That is how you notify ebay; by opening a return for reason of 'not as described'.

OP6 months agoYes I have started a return as stated above, hoping the seller would refund since the part was not sent.
Then a game was played to send a wrong much cheaker part instead. I have that now and will not be paying to ship a mistake back to a seller.
I'm hoping the seller refunds my credit card at this point.
What else can I do?
I'm hoping eBay steps in and looks at this

·6 months ago1.) you only get 1 shot at a return and seems you tried to do a 'return' before even receiving the item
2.) stop trying to contact ebay. Nobody is home. This is an automated site and you needed to have done things in the right order, and trying to 'cancel/refund' before receiving is not how it's done.
3,) if you used 'not as described' on a return (again, sounds like it's too late to do it correctly) you would NOT have had to 'pay' to return it, the seller would have had to provide a label.
You can now only try your CC, but without shipping it back, not sure you will succeed.

OP6 months agoI'm thinking this seller knew I did the return too soon, then just me a different cheap part knowing that I can not doing anything.

even IF you got a customer service rep (which is possible), there is probably nothing they can do because of your initial misstep. The INAD might still be available to you, but I am thinking you may have lost that option.

If you open a INAD return thru eBay the seller has to send you a prepaid return shipping label. You have to make sure you choose INAD as the reason for your return this is very important. Can’t choose you didn’t get your item as the reason.
