·4 months agoSame thing happened to me. The seller used an Amazon tracking number for someone else in my city. It showed proof of delivery with a photo of a small Amazon package, but it was not my order.
I opened a refund request and called eBay three times. Each time, they told me to wait a few days. Then they closed my case without issuing a refund.
eBay is a joke, and their Money Back Guarantee feels like the same kind of fraud as the seller’s scam.

When there is tracking that shows Delivered in your zip code you will lose an Item not received dispute. Neither you or ebay can get the exact address. However, you can file an item not as described dispute and the seller will have to provide you with a return shipping label within 3 days, or issue a full refund. If they do neither or make excuses, open the return dispute on day 4 and use the Ask ebay to step in button, they will issue a refund from the seller's account. If they send a return label slap it on a manila envelope and send back what you received ... Nothing!

You need to do a much better job of vetting your sellers! Every single one of the China based sellers you have bought from whose username starts with guang, registered on the same day. 2 of them are no longer registered, 1 has a (-1) feedback, the others still have (0) feedback. Sellers with (0) feedback are not all crooks, but many of them run into issues with their first sales, because they do not know about the 30 day hold, ebay places on their first sales, so they do not ship the items because the payment status on their sold item page says Pending.

If the item you bought sold for under $1,000 that should have been a warning. The ones for sale by the Anker store all sell for around $1,200+ . Never buy from sellers whose prices are well below trending ones!
These days you have to check each seller's feedback profile, but especially those located in China, and when possible avoid buying from China based sellers at all! They are responsible for the vast majority of the reports we receive about Fake tracking scams.

·4 months agoContact your payment source and file for a chargeback. This is a fake tracking number scam. Ebay only goes by tracking number which states delivered. They do not go by your word. Yes your word has no value as far as the case. In the future try not to deal with sellers in China and sellers with little to no feedback. Deal within the US only.

·4 months agoOnce the tracking number showed delivery to your zip code - eBay closed the complaint.
If you funded your payment using a credit card, call the number on the back of the card and inquire about a charge back.
Once you realized that the seller sent the item to a different address within your area code, you should open a not as described complaint, and when instructed to, and supplied a postage label, send back the same thing you received.
Tracking only proves delivery you zip code, not your address.
