Items not delivered
Three times in a row now I have received an email from Ebay saying my item was delivered when actually it wasn’t. First time supposedly shipped to another state with the proof of delivery being “met the customerâ€. Last week and today received the email and no package. UPS tracking says they were delivered to my town, as proof of delivery, but no address. UPS says the seller has restrictions on tracking. Sellers are not replying to my inquiries? What is going on? Getting ready to ditch Ebay despite promoting the company for the past decade.

·8 months agoThis happens way too often for eBay not to know exactly what is going on. I can only conclude that eBay is hoping you'll just eat the loss and go away. If it were me, I would file a dispute with my bank and never shop eBay again. Not because of one potentially bad seller, but because of how eBay refuses to handle it.
Also, for eBay buying in general, I would make sure that neither eBay nor paypal had access to my bank account, and do everything through a credit card as a last line of defense.

·8 months agoYes! I’m currently dealing with the same. Bought some coffee, USPS tracking says it was delivered last Thursday, no package. Tell the seller I didn’t get it, seller sends me tracking info that says it was delivered to my town only. So I go to the PO and they say it was delivered to an address other than mine and when I asked them what address that is, they tell me they can’t divulge that information and that I will have to take it up with the shipper. The lady at the PO looked up my tracking # and printed a receipt that says the package was 0 lbs and 1 oz. Well that’s not right. This coffee was 96 K-cups and should probably weigh in around 4 pounds. Now, I’ve already checked PayPal’s so-called money back guarantee and it states I’m ineligible for their guarantee if the shipper provides proof of delivery, which he has to the degree that something arrived somewhere in my town but not to me! Currently working the merry-go-round!

OP8 months agoThis more recent product, a bread maker, was sent to the wrong address, same town. UPS gave me the address that was on the label. The elderly man living there has no recollection. The seller did not respond to three messages and asked Ebay to resolve. Ebay says it was delivered and cancelled my request. A statement of delivering to the same town is not proof of delivery, and Ebay knows this. FedEx takes photos and sends them to you so you can see the package was on your porch. I lost $147 on this which wipes out any savings from buying through Ebay.

·8 months agoWhere are the sellers from? Do these sellers have decent feedback as in do you see any other issues these sellers are having?
